When 40 Kalamazoo College students were surveyed, studies found that the students seemed to be more prepared right out of high school. Kalamazoo College students applied to more schools on average (4.93) than the national average (3.7). Also, the survey concluded that families of the students are wealthier. The average family of a Kalamazoo College student makes $117,931 compared to the national average of $46,400.
