3. Yes the sponsor could have an interest in finding a particual result to this study because the organization is pressing for teaching of more liberal arts in public schools and these results show that in doing so would improve the result of teenagers knowing more about history and literature.
4. Phone survey, 1,200 17 year olds were called and asked 33 multiple choice questions about history and literature.
5. Yes the results are communicated in a clear informative manner. The results show that many teenage students do not know basic history and literature knowledge.
